Reaching the Sookmyung Station Area From Seoul’s Airports

Why there are two location pages

The archived hostel profile carried two location pages. This one covered a second site in the Yongsan district near Sookmyung Women’s University, which the archive said was due to reopen in October. Other details have been left out, as this site is not the hostel’s page and cannot confirm current addresses. Always check directions with the property before you travel.

By airport limousine bus

The archived directions suggested taking a limousine bus from the airport and getting off at the stop for Sookmyung Women’s University. Journey times were given as about an hour and twenty minutes from Incheon and about fifty minutes from Gimpo. From the stop, walkers crossed at the crosswalk and followed the road, passing convenience stores and fast-food signs.

By subway

The alternative began with the AREX airport line from Incheon International Airport or Gimpo Airport station to Seoul Station, which took roughly an hour and ten minutes from Incheon, or about forty minutes from Gimpo. At Seoul Station, travellers changed to Line 4 and rode one stop to Sookmyung Women’s University station, then left by exit 2.

The final walk

The route went straight along the main road for roughly five hundred metres, past an intersection with a high school opposite, past a cafe, and then left before a car park. A yellow signboard marked the entrance.
